Life Details

Since I've started the 365 project, I've really grown to appreciate my surroundings even more.

Having to come up with a new photo everyday...

(I have cheated occasionally and used an older photo... shhhh keep that between you and me... ;))

It really helps you notice the small things.

Like your reflection in the paned glass of the front door.

A single bloom that has fallen.

or

The fabulous texture of linen.

Maybe you've noticed sometimes when you have a vase of fresh flowers,

all the tiny bubbles that adorn the vase.

Finding these subtle details is like finding a little piece of magic.

Tucked away under everyday life occurrences.

Life can be so rushed it can be difficult to

stop and smell the roses.

They smell quite lovely,

do you remember?

Or have you forgotten because it's been so long?

I hope that for a moment you've been able to find that small detail that makes your life so beautiful.

Happy Tuesday!

"Sometimes when you start losing detail, whether it's in music or in life, something as small as failing to be polite, you start to lose substance."

~ Benny Goodman
