Lucky Dog

As most of you know, there aren't many young children running around yet in my family.  SO I like to spoil all the dogs instead.  Each festively wrapped small, brown paper bags contain the most delicious holiday cookies any dog could ask for.  Just ask Noah... he's had his share this holiday season.

Dreaming of Snow

Wishing it was colder this close to Christmas but I guess Miss Kitty still has the right idea.

It's Beginning to Feel Alot Like Christmas

The yahoo temperature reads 45 degrees and the heater just clicked on.  Lights are sparkling on my tree and you can buy holiday colored hershey kisses (which I've already consumed one small bag...).  This time of year my house always feels cozier, more "homey."  Hot chocolate, peppermints, and warm covers to snuggle in are daily thoughts of mine.  The grey sky makes it even easier to find the excuse to pause for a moment and enjoy this season.

I invite you to grab a warm, fuzzy blanket and cup of hot chocolate and just relax while we take a tour of holiday whimsy, Cupcake Cottage style.

Winter Sneak Peek

Yesterday I peeked outside and thought I saw snow... it was just a leaf blowing in the wind.  Eventually we did get a few flurries but Josh and I were getting new cell phones and I didn't get any pictures.  The cold weather has finally crept in and all I want to do is snuggle deep in my covers and enjoy it... which is what I've done most of the day.  Dishes... what dishes?  :)

I never do much decorating for the holidays, but here are a few sneak peeks until I finish.  I need to make a tiny tree skirt for my petite, cupcake cottage tree and find a few finishing touches to complete the look I'm going for.  Last year I went crazy and did a Keep Austin Weird tree, complete with tie-dyed tree skirt from dog tees that were printed wrong.  I've calmed down a bit since then and decided to stick with the classics.  I'll post the finished project either Monday or Tuesday, so stay tuned!

Turkey Day At Circle Turtle Ranch

There is always something to do at Circle Turtle Ranch.  Eat turkey, wear your pj's all day, visit with family, play some hoops, or just be entertained by the silliness that always comes along with visiting my family.

I'm FINALLY starting to feel somewhat better.  Please excuse the delay in posting anything.  Sleep and I have been trying to become friends again while I break up with cough.  Sometimes it is a long process.  :)

An early Christmas gift of the History (thus far) of Circle Turtle Ranch.
