Break from Reality

Josh took the day off on Wednesday for some much needed R&R. It was a cooler, overcast day and perfect for an albino person like myself to go swimming at Krause Springs in Spicewood (I put sunscreen on just in case!). The springs are so refreshing, I could have sat there all day letting the water cascade down around me. We also ventured into the Butterfly Gardens and while I explored the gardens, Josh nestled into a hammock tucked away in back of the property with a huge wind chime above it. We left relaxed and rejuvenated.

I hope you all find a way to relax this weekend.

"We spend most of our time and energy in a kind of horizontal thinking. We move along the surface of things but there are times when we stop. We sit still. We lose ourselves in a pile of leaves or its memory. We listen, and breezes from a whole other world begin to whisper."

~ James Carroll

"To sit in the shade on a fine day, and look upon verdure is the most perfect refreshment."

~ Jane Austen

Looks so relaxing! I need a place like that! I think we should take a trip to Esme Isle :)
