3508 Duval St

This house is closer to the style that I'm trying to achieve -

a happy medium between contemporary and vintage.

Although, I think this house is a little TOO finished for me.

I wish there were more vintage tile to be found and it definitely needs a new front door.

But, it's still fun to look at.

Still working on the bedroom.  I have the duvet and curtains and I've recovered the lampshades.

Still need to add trim to the curtains and shades, paint the bedside tables, and hang artwork.

Oh and I'm working on getting a new bed frame...

I really like this nailhead upholstered trim bed from West Elm:

But the Malm Bed from Ikea is definitely an easier price for the Mr. to swallow.

Who knows what he will choose...

Have a fabulous day!

I have the greatest time taking these tours with you. Love this house, it's got so many great elements. And the beds yummy.

I love the island in the kitchen and the built-in shelves in the living room with the cute little windows above them are great. I like the nail head bed. Those two beds are completely different. I up for an Ikea trip whenever you are. LC
