I am so directionally impaired that I get lost walking out of my front door, so I try to stay on roads that I know where I will end up.
So, yes, I have ended up on unknown roads, but was anxiety ridden. Ha Ha, Maybe I just need to change my outlook?

i love taking the road less traveled...but hubby likes to take the shortest, fastest route possible...i am still training him. your photos are lovely.

These are great shots - I tend to keep to the roads I know unless I'm with someone.
Well, you've certainly got me thinking here ... I get lost all the time. When I'm not in a hurry, I really love exploring the area. THANKFULLY I now have a GPS. I used to have to call and check in with my husband regularly so he could stop worrying about me. He's always surprised, and holds a big celebration for me when I find my way without spending all day :)

I live in Tyler and love to do this myself. You never know what you'll find at the end of a long dirt road. Winding along, dust kicked up behind you, obscuring where you've been. Happening upon old barns and livestock critters. A good day with my camera.
