It all began with this face....
Please...
{his pitiful eyes pleaded with me}
Even though it's raining, let's go for a walk!
And so we did.
In the rain,
with the occasional clap of thunder...
And it felt great!
Sure we got some funny looks.
But I'm learning to get over that.
Trying to take my camera out places and not let it bother me who stares.
Did I mention it sure isn't easy trying to take a picture while holding a leash with dog in tow,
while balancing an umbrella, and keys (don't have pockets in my yoga pants).
All while trying to make sure I don't drop my camera.
(did I mention the poor, pitiful dog also decide to do some "business" - leaving me to carry that as well)
Thankfully there was a trash can close by...
Really though, I had so much fun walking in the rain.
It was very refreshing.
Although, even after all of my efforts.
We come home and I'm left with this face...
I'm beginning to think he is playing me...

You make me laugh, and I do believe your dog just might be laughing too :-) Fun shots, love the one of the umbrella and having a banner of it in each shot gives you a great mosaic of your rainy day walk.
Your blog is always so refreshing, Bonnie. I come away feeling like I've touched sunshine, even when the subject matter concerns rain. I adore the way you process your photos. And I adore the way you "see" things and then let us see them that way, too. I just love the before and after pictures of Noah. Smiles!
So adorable! What a great "mom" you are! :)
Beautiful photos! Your dog is so cute! I like to bring my camera on dog walks too... Buster usually tangles himself around my ankles when I stop to take pictures. :) What editing program do you use? How do you get that wonderful, light softness over all your amazing pictures?
dirty, wet, stinky dog fur! I'm quite familiar with this situation. My dog seems to want to walk EVEN MORE when it's rainy and stormy out. Last night, during the thunder and lightning, I had to make her wait. I wasn't about to be a lightning rod just so she can do her business somewhere other than the backyard! But I'll make it up to her ten-fold when the sun comes out tomorrow!
love the pics and the story!
i wouldn't be able to resist that face either!
Oh that face! Dogs have mastered the art of making us do what they want just by giving us the sad puppy dog eyes! I love walking in the rain with my dog!
This is the cutest post! I love the photos you managed to take during your spontaneous walk. Your dog is so sweet.
What a cute dog! This is true devotion.
{Hooray for "meeting" another Texas girl in blog world. :) }
