After over a decade, it was decided to retire our old gal. But before I show you our new sofa, let us take a walk down memory lane.
Our old sofa saw us through the different seasons and survived as a "practice sofa" during design school. Once we moved to Austin, the old gal still endured my ever changing desire to switch out pillows and colors. I think for now I've settled on a color palette of soft greys, neutrals, antique blues, with pops of green.
In Her full glory at our first home in Spring, Texas:

We've only lived in Austin for barely two years and she has already gone through several transformations:
Here is a sneak peak of what our new sofa will look like. The fabric will be about the same color but it will be a linen/cotton blend instead of the cotton twill shown in the picture. We should be getting her delievered the week after we return from vacation. I think I'm still in shock that we are getting a new sofa...

I'll post pictures after she has been fluffed and gussied up for her first photo shoot. :)
Until then, have a lovely weekend!!!

Congratulations on the new sofa. I had no idea you liked neutrals and greys. Can't wait to see her.
